This project is a personal tribute to Alex Kidd in Miracle World, one of the first video games I played growing up and a title that helped spark my passion for video games.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary (1986–2026), I wanted to explore what a modern remake of the character could look like. The goal was to reinterpret Alex Kidd with a more mature, stylized approach while still respecting the charm and identity of the original design.
For this project, I imagined a fictional reboot titled “KIDD: The Fall of Radaxian”, presenting a slightly older and more experienced version of the character within a modern stylized game aesthetic.
This fan art project is created purely as a tribute to a classic character from Sega.
